In the swamps that surround Ottersricht, they say there are places even the mutants won't go--places where the dead return to steal the souls of the living!
-Jurgen Oppenheimer, Ottersricht merchant
I'm back this week, feeling somewhat over my cold. That thing was a pain in the ass. Anyway, I've been slowly working on the nighthaunts from the AoS 2.0 box. But before I started them, I knocked out a couple of test models. For all these models, I am blatantly stealing Tyler Mengel's methods that he outlined here and here.
The first model I tried was a ghost from Mantic's Dungeon Saga. I went a little heavy on the wash. But otherwise, came out super easy.
Fantastic name! It's actually a crime there haven't been more Banshees puns in Nighthaunt character names. =D
ReplyDeleteThanks! And quite frankly I couldn't believe I was the first (publicly) to think of such an easy one
DeleteThey came out great. Thanks for the links to the technique, I have an undead army on the back burner.
ReplyDeleteQuite welcome. It's super easy, I've done another half a unit already and they were finished really quickly.
DeleteLovely ethereal effect on these mate! The subtle differences in shade between the greens used adds lots of depth.
ReplyDeleteThanks, it's all made easier my GW's extensive range of green washes and glazes 😂
DeleteLooking good. Glad you got over the vapors.
ReplyDelete🤢
DeleteWow, pretty interesting results, I love the way they look!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteLooking great!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Andrew. Will be shamelessly stealing this method for my ghosties
ReplyDeleteThanks! And it's super worth stealing 😂
